Who we are · Est. 1981

Built on hard work & honest people.

From a family nursery in 1952 to a civil and landscape contractor across Alberta today.

Construction is hard, honest work, and it's the work we love. There's a real sense of pride that comes from standing on a completed site, looking around, and knowing your crew built something that will serve people for decades to come. That feeling never gets old.

We believe every project deserves our full effort, whether it's a small job or a major development. From the first day on site to the final walkthrough, we bring the same commitment to quality, safety, and craftsmanship. We pay attention to the details, communicate openly, and do the job the right way, not the easy way.

Our reputation has been built one project at a time by showing up, working hard, and standing behind our work long after the equipment is packed up and the crew has gone home.

From Wills' Nursery to Wilco.

Wilco started out as Wills' Nursery, a small landscaping outfit Dick Maat ran back in Ontario in 1952. It has grown into full-scale civil and landscape construction since, but the way we approach a job came straight from those early days.

Honest work, seen through to the end. That part has never changed.
